Rebecca Minkoff will expand its international presence with stand-alone stores in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on April 8th and April 22nd, respectively. These openings mark the brand’s first expansion to the Middle East.
The Dubai store, a 1,408 square foot space, is located at the City Walk concept mall. The Abu Dhabi store, a 1,129 square foot location, will be at the heart of Yas Island in the YAS Mall.
“We are thrilled to be opening our first brick-and-mortar locations in the Middle East,” says Uri Minkoff, CEO and Co-Founder. “Having a presence in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi—such exceptionally diverse cities—has been a longtime goal of ours. We strive to connect with our customers on a global scale and design our stores with our millennial customer in mind. Breaking into this market will give us the opportunity to directly connect and cater to our next-generation Middle Eastern shoppers.”
“I feel so grateful and excited to open stores in such incredible cities that I’ve admired for so long. We really wanted to offer our millennial Middle Eastern customer the quintessential Rebecca Minkoff in-store experience. Now we have that opportunity,” says Rebecca Minkoff.
The entire Rebecca Minkoff collection will be available in both locations including handbags, ready-to- wear, athleisure, denim, shoes, jewelry, wearable tech, small leather goods and accessories.
Rebecca Minkoff is expanding its global presence with a store in Hong Kong and with more international stores slated to open this year. In the United States, Rebecca Minkoff has flagship stores in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco with Chicago slated to open later this Spring.
